Premier’s double game on mill

The Tasmanian Greens last week accused the Premier Paul Lennon of playing a double game over the withdrawal of Gunns from the Resource Planning and Development Commission (RPDC) and the legislation of the alternative fast track approvals process. It has been confirmed that Gunns were told the Thursday before they pulled out that the information they had given the RPDC was deficient, constituting a critical non-compliance, and meaning that assessment could not proceed unless they presented further research.
